KOREAN FINAL IN SÃO PAULO

The male singles'final at the Brazilian Open will be between two young Koreans. World Junior Champion two years ago, Cho Eon Era beat the favorite to win Liu Song, 4-0 (6/11, 10/12, 10/12 and 11/9) and will decide the title of the main competition with his compatriot Lee Jin Kwon.

 

"I'm very proud of Cho. He is still a boy and he has played very well against a player, who has so much more experience than he does. Since he won the Junior title, in Chile, he has improved", Jae Hwa Lee, his coach, celebrated.

 

Lee Jin Kwon, whose victory was ove Achanta Kamal 4 games to 2 (11/7, 9/11, 6/11, 11/8, 8/11 and 9/11) will also dispute the doubles final.
