SEMIFINALS DEFINED

The male singles' semifinals at the Brazilian Open already have their last contenders. Idia's Ashanta Sharath Kamal and the Sout Korean player Lee Jin Kwon will face each other this Sunday seeking for a spot in the final. The match is scheduled to start at 12h15.

 

Ashanta, who defeated Cazuo Matsumoto in the first rond, won over Christophe Bertin from France, 4-1 (11/8, 7/11, 11/9, 12/10 and 11/3). Lee has already had victories over Zhang Peng and Brazil's Thiago Monteiro, also in the first round. The final score was 4-1, 12/10, 11/9, 11/8, 8/11 and 14/12.
