SWEDISH OPEN'S MAIN DRAW: HOYAMA IS ELIMINATED

Hugo Hoyama was eliminated, today, in the main draw (round of 64 athletes) of the Swedish Open. After a seven games marathon, the Table Tennis player did not resist and lost (11-7, 11-2, 11-9, 9-11, 11-6) for the Swedish Peter Karlson, 24^th in the world's ranking and the best in his country. "I firstly would have to play very well to win, although I had some possibilities", said Hugo.

The Brazilian couldn't help but be critic about himself. "When he started attacking, it was very difficult to return the balls". The fact that Hugo Hoyama started loosing the majority of the sets canceled any possibility of recuperation. "I really wanted to place short and low balls. He was taking it shortly, but a little high. It made my attacks very difficult".

Despite it, the competition's balance was positive for Hoyama. Now, his objective is playing the Brazilian Championship at Florianopolis next week. After that, he wants to improve his physical conditions in the next two months.
